A snake
That is what he is
His moves are fluid
He is smooth as fired glass
His glare is blinding
His stare is beyond warm
The smoke fills my mind
yet in an instant
I know he is not human
Fluid...like blood
He does not walk, he floats
His heart does not beat
It is made of stone
Still my senses clash with my will
He is not food
He is danger
I can hide what I am
but I shall not for this one
Could it be?
A rock that can be melted?
A hardened soul to be broken?
An eternity for a killer?
I bare my teeth, then my soul
And I do not wonder why...
That is what he is
His moves are fluid
He is smooth as fired glass
His glare is blinding
His stare is beyond warm
The smoke fills my mind
yet in an instant
I know he is not human
Fluid...like blood
He does not walk, he floats
His heart does not beat
It is made of stone
Still my senses clash with my will
He is not food
He is danger
I can hide what I am
but I shall not for this one
Could it be?
A rock that can be melted?
A hardened soul to be broken?
An eternity for a killer?
I bare my teeth, then my soul
And I do not wonder why...
